Support Our Cause
No time is a good time to seek financial support, but as Scotland’s monthly magazine free of big business control, our time has arrived to ask for the public’s help.
In 2021 IScot’s revenue levels declined owing to events out of its control whilst costs increased, and worse, founding editor Ken McDonald was hospitalised many weeks, thankfully now slowly getting back at work, keen to look ahead to a new year.
To continue, iScot has opened a crowd-funder campaign to assist its progress this year. All monies received are used to produce the magazine and pay key staff for layout and printing. Ken works free of fees. There are no lawyers to pay, offices to furnish, advertising or travel to cover. Every pound donated is a contribution to this nation’s fight for literary freedom. A unique magazine of iScot’s lauded high standard and topical range is needed if Scotland is to retain multi-outlets of information in its march to reinstate self-governance. We are a strong voice, a community for Scotland’s liberty. Faced by the choice, close now or continue, IScot refuses to choose defeat but we need your help. Please give generously.
